As an experienced, award-winning director, and a member of Strathmore's Who's Who since 2005, Gerald aims to realize the theatrical endeavor through vision, process, and attention to detail. Since 2000, Gerald has worked to develop the talent of new voices within the theatre community. Between his work as Artistic Director of the Midtown International Theatre Festival and his time as a Resident Director of Break-a-Leg Productions, he has brought critically acclaimed, award-winning new plays to the stage. Gerald is particularly well suited to shepherding youth productions. He is an experienced teaching artist, skilled at developing and implementing curricula at the K-12 level. Through his work as a Resident Director with the Black Spectrum Theatre Company, he has been instrumental in the development of new musicals with the Children's Theatre Institute.
